Joint runner-up of the Best Silver Surfers’ Day event 2010 was Age Concern Tameside, who put together a great event in partnership with local schools. Turns out the young people were surprised at how nice the older ones were, and vice versa. Nothing like a bit of conversation, laughter and exchange over a warm computer to get people talking together.
